Welcome to Harrier Tours and Travel Ltd, Uganda the Pearl of Africa.

Harrier Tours was established in 2009 by Harriet Kemigisha after her long-time experience in Nature conservation and working with Uganda Wildlife Authority as a Ranger Guide.

We have successfully guided many groups and individual Tours for, Birding Ecotours USA, Audubon Society of Portland USA, Talon Birding Tours USA, Wild latitudes USA, Cheepers Africa USA , Michigan State University study abroad programs USA, Ohio University Study Abroad programs USA,  Wise Birding UK, Birdwatching Breaks UK, RSPB UK,  Africa Geographic Travel, Bustards  Birding Tours South Africa to mention but a few.

The purpose was to empower more women in Conservation and guiding. Today Uganda has the highest population of female guides in Africa.

 The pearl of Africa is the name Ugandans are rightly proud of; Uganda is filled with friendliest people in the world who are quick to greet you with a broad smile and the Phrase ‘‘Your Most welcome!’’

Harrier Tours offers a variety of activities with the main focus on Birding and general wildlife Tours, Natural History and Cultural Tours.

Our Tours contribute to conservation programs and training of Uganda Women Birders and Reformed Poachers around Kibale National Park, by signing a tour with us you’re contributing to the conservation
